Superlek Kiatmoo9 is ready to let "the ring do the talking" at ONE 168: Denver this Friday.
Later this week, two world-class strikers, Jonathan Haggerty and Superlek, will headline ONE Championship's return to North America. There have been endless predictions and debates about who will emerge victorious, as Superlek holds a win against Haggerty, while the latter has evolved into a different beast.
Haggerty and Superlek first fought in a different promotion in 2018. Since then, 'The General' became a ONE Muay Thai world champion in flyweight before moving up to bantamweight, where he now holds titles in two different sports.
Meanwhile, Superlek is the reigning ONE flyweight kickboxing world champion. Furthermore, the Thai superstar has maintained an undefeated promotional Muay Thai record of 10-0, making him arguably the most dangerous striker in ONE.

During an interview with Yokkao, Superlek seemed ready to move on from the talking and showcase his skills against Haggerty. 'The Kicking Machine' had this to say about the "time running out" before they meet in the ONE 168 main event:
"I don't have any message to Haggerty. But I want to say time is running out, there's no more time to talk. The ring will do the talking. It will be a good fight."
ONE 168 represents the promotion's highly-anticipated return to North America, which goes down inside the Ball Arena in Denver, Colorado. Jonathan Haggerty vs. Superlek could be Fight of the Year
Jonathan Haggerty vs. Superlek is widely considered a Fight of the Year contender, even though the matchup hasn't played out. The combination of skill, storyline, and stakes makes this a must-see bout for all striking fans.
Heading into ONE 168, Haggerty is riding high on knockout wins against Nong-O, Fabricio Andrade (kickboxing), and Felipe Lobo. As for Superlek, he may not have secured finishes in his last three appearances, but he did take out the world-class competition - Rodtang, Takeru Segawa (kickboxing), and Kongthoranee.
Superlek could retire tomorrow and be remembered as a ONE Championship great. With that said, the Thai superstar has plenty of time left in his career to add more accomplishments, including the status of two-sport world champion.
