Angela Lee commemorated the memory of her late sister, Victoria, in the best way she knew how.
ONE Championship celebrates Victoria Lee Day on Jan. 13 to remember the life of the promising MMA star who passed away in December 2022.
Taking to Instagram, Lee said she celebrated the date in her unique way.
The inaugural ONE women's atomweight MMA world champion posted that while Victoria would be remembered fondly, Lee said she would look at how her younger sister's overall character inspired how she would live her life.

"Today is #VictoriaLeeDay but in all honesty, I strive to #LiveLikeVictoria every day. My sister was the most selfless person I knew. She was always spreading love and joy and thinking of others. Let us all be inspired to do the same by showing acts of random kindness. God knows we all need it."
Victoria, the second youngest of the famed Lee siblings, joined her older siblings Angela and Christian in ONE Championship when she debuted in February 2021.
She quickly made a name for herself when she established a 3-0 record, with two wins coming via submission and one via knockout.
Tragedy, however, struck the family in December 2022 when Victoria took her own life just after Christmas.
Lee decided to take a lengthy hiatus following Victoria's passing and ultimately retired from MMA in September 2023.
Christian, meanwhile, decided to return to action in 2024 to continue his reign as the ONE lightweight and welterweight MMA world champion.
Angela Lee admits she had urges to return to MMA after her retirement
Angela Lee is adamant that her days competing in MMA are long over, but she revealed that there were times when the urge to step back inside the cage nearly had her.
Posting on her Instagram Stories, Lee admitted that there were moments when she thought of making a comeback.
Those thoughts, however, were just temporary and she maintained her goal of leading her non-profit organization FightStory:
"Yes sometimes I do get the urge to return to MMA but then it passes haha! On to bigger and more purposeful things now!"
