While Nico Carrillo has looked damn near unstoppable in his first four appearances with the promotion, the Scottish sensation hasn't even hit his peak yet.
After earning highlight-reel knockouts against Thai legends like Nong-O Hama and Saemapetch Fairtex in his last two outings, 'King of the North' will look to claim his first ONE world title when he challenges two-sport king Superlek Kiatmoo9 for the ONE bantamweight Muay Thai world championship.
Superlek vs. Carrillo will co-headline an absolutely loaded ONE 170 card inside the iconic Impact Arena in Bangkok, Thailand.

Speaking with Sky Sports ahead of his first shot at 26 pounds of ONE gold, Carrillo thinks that while he has not reached his physical prime just yet, you'll get the absolute best version of him at ONE 170.
"No, I’m not in my prime yet," Carrillo said. "I’ve not hit my peak years. I think the sky’s the limit for me, and I think you will see the best version of me on 24th January, but I think there’ll be no barriers broken after that."

Nico Carrillo faces one of the best P4P strikers in the work at ONE 170
Since making his promotional debut in 2023, Nico Carrillo has landed four massive finishes with only one of his opponents making it past the second round.
Meanwhile, 'The Kicking Machine' has been tearing through the competition en route to becoming a two-division world champion — claiming both the ONE bantamweight Muay Thai and flyweight kickboxing crowns.
Superlek captured the former via a jaw-dropping 49-second elbow KO of Jonathan Haggerty at ONE 168: Denver.
With wins over the likes of Nabil Anane, Tagir Khalilov, Kongthoranee So Rommai, 'The Iron Man' Rodtang Jitmuangnon, Takeru Segawa, and the aforementioned Jonathan Haggerty, does Nico Carrillo stand a chance against one of the best P4P strikers on the planet?
Fans in the United States and Canada can watch ONE 170: Tawanchai vs. Superbon II, which will air live on Amazon Prime Video on Friday, Jan. 24 in U.S. primetime.
