Conor McGregor has shared a picture of himself with British politician, Nigel Farage, from their time together at Donald Trump's victory rally. Netizens soon chimed in on the same.

McGregor is considered one of the biggest box office draws in combat sports and the sports/entertainment realms. The MMA legend has often expressed interest in helping his country, Ireland, by contributing entrepreneurially and politically.

Meanwhile, Nigel Farage leads the Reform UK political party. The 60-year-old Englishman, who's on a quest to become the British Prime Minister, is a longtime supporter of America's Donald Trump.

Farage, Conor McGregor, UFC CEO Dana White, and many others reportedly attended Trump's recent victory rally and inauguration celebrations in Washington D.C., U.S.A.

Former U.S. President Trump (who served from 2017 to 2021) was re-elected as P.O.T.U.S. in Nov. 2024. His victory rally festivities recently began and his second inauguration ceremony is booked for Jan. 20, 2025 (local time in the U.S.). Nigel Farage posted a photo of himself with McGregor to his Instagram and wrote:

"We are so back. @notoriousmma"

McGregor took to X and posted a photo of himself with Farage. The Irishman notably tagged British political commentator and media personality, Katie Hopkins, and wrote:

"We are so back!" - @Nigel_Farage #MyBrother @KTHopkins #marriotdc

Fans soon took to Conor McGregor's X post, with several of them praising the UFC icon. Many observers opined he'd do a better job than Farage in politics. A few others expressed their respect for both. One X user deemed them as future Prime Ministers of their respective countries:

"Future PMs"

Alternatively, some commenters lambasted McGregor for the post. One netizen wrote:

"A real irishman wouldn't do this."

However, several others hailed McGregor. A fan wrote:

"The King of Ireland and The British Prime Minister."

One observer alluded to UFC head honcho Dana White attending the event. White gave a speech praising longtime friend Donald Trump ahead of his second inauguration as the P.O.T.U.S. The fan seemed to reference McGregor and White's longstanding fight game association and wrote:

"Love you champ!! Hope you and Dana met up and chilled. party on my dude"

Another netizen implied that McGregor could save Western civilization:

"Conor you would do a far better job in politics than Nigel Farage. The West needs you!"

Conor McGregor recently steered clear of 'gangster' label, hinted at political career

Former UFC featherweight and lightweight champion Conor McGregor hasn't competed in a professional combat sports contest since July 2021. He's lately been teasing a potential boxing match against Logan Paul in India.

Nevertheless, Dana White recently indicated that McGregor wouldn't box Paul or KSI. White hopes to see him in the UFC this fall.

Furthermore, McGregor recently hinted that he's genuinely considering a political career. In a fan-made edit, featuring the MMA legend and the Biggie Smalls track, 'Relax & Take Notes,' a netizen seemingly praisingly labeled the Irishman as a gangster:

"The Real Gangster"

Conor McGregor responded with a post on X, which he later deleted, rejecting the gangster label and deeming himself a politician:

"I'm not a gangster I'm a budding politician."
