“There are goals to crush” - Interim strawweight MMA champ Jarred Brooks thanks his supporters, promises bigger 2025 run

Jarred Brooks is more than ready to start his redemption arc in 2025.

The ONE interim strawweight MMA world champion has a massive chance to kickstart his campaign with a bang when he faces off eternal rival Joshua Pacio in their world title unification match for the undisputed ONE strawweight MMA world championship at ONE 171: Qatar.

The trilogy bout between the two best 125-pound fighters on the planet goes down at Lusail Sports Arena on February 20.

Taking to Instagram, Brooks thanked his supporters for staying beside him after a bittersweet 2024 run.

Jarred Brooks ultimately vowed his fans and team that 2025 will be the year 'The Monkey God' returns to undisputed world champion status.

"I truly thank all of my followers and fans for being here for me, 2025 is going to be a great year! There are goals to crush. Dreams to fulfill! #2025 All I ask is don’t follow me, follow Jesus, I love you all, but not as much as he does," Brooks posted.

Brooks had a disappointing start to his 2024 campaign when he relinquished the ONE strawweight MMA world title to Pacio at ONE 166: Qatar in the same venue where they will square off in their highly anticipated rubber match.

The American superstar, though, quickly captured a piece of ONE Championship gold when he submitted Cuban Olympic wrestler Gustavo Balart for the ONE interim strawweight MMA world title at ONE Fight Night 24.

Thinking that his year was on the come-up, Brooks suffered a razor-thin split decision loss to Reece McLaren in his flyweight MMA debut at ONE Fight Night 26 in December.
