Riding a streak of five straight finishes inside the circle, 'Japanese Beast' Hiroyuki Tetsuka plans on taking out Iis Fitikefu by any means necessary.

Emanating from Ball Arena on Friday, September 6, ONE Championship returns to 'The Mile High City' for a stacked night of fights at ONE 168: Denver.

In the main event of the evening, two-sport king Jonathan Haggerty will put his ONE bantamweight Muay Thai world title on the line against the promotion's current flyweight kickboxing world titleholder, Superlek.

But first, fight fans will be treated to a stacked undercard, including a massive welterweight MMA clash between Tetsuka and Fitikefu.

Speaking with ONE Championship ahead of their clash in 'The Centennial State', Tetsuka aims to be the first fighter to finish Fitikefu and believes he'll have plenty of ways to do it:

“I plan to give him his first finish loss, but I usually adapt to the flow of the fight," Tetsuka said. "There are really many ways I could win.”

Hiroyuki Tetsuka looks for 15th career win against Isi Fitikefu at ONE 168: Denver

Since dropping a unanimous decision to Murad Ramazanov in November 2020, Hiroyuki Tetsuka has finished every one of his opponents inside the distance, including Agilan Thani, Edson Marquez, Jin Tae Ho, Abraao Amorim, and Valmir Da Silva.

Overall, the 'Japanese Beast' is 14-4 in his mixed martial arts career with six of his wins coming under the ONE banner.

Earning his 15th victory will be no easy task when he meets the 31-year-old Aussie with a 75 percent finish rate and a heap of momentum following his own first-round submission victory over the aforementioned Valmir Da Silva at ONE Fight Night 9.

Who leaves with their hand raised and one step closer to a welterweight MMA title opportunity?
