Danielle Kelly believes 18-year-old Victoria Lee has big things ahead of her as news of Lee’s comeback at ONE on Prime Video 6 made headlines last month.
‘The Prodigy’ Victoria Lee makes her anticipated return to the world stage after taking a year-long break to focus on her studies. The new graduate faces Indian wrestler Zeba Bano to resume her race to the top and extend her perfect 3-0 record under the promotion.
Atomweight grappler Danielle Kelly spoke highly of Victoria ahead of her MMA match, despite Kelly’s intense rivalry with her older sister Angela Lee. She told ONE Championship:
“Yeah, I mean, again, I had nothing really bad to say about them. They're very talented and you know, I think Victoria is very young so I think she has a lot of years to go so there's always room for improvement.”

With two older siblings holding world titles - Christian Lee as the owner of both the welterweight and lightweight belts and Angela Lee as the current atomweight queen - they’ve set the bar pretty high for Victoria.
Joining the promotion at 16 years old, ‘The Prodigy’ started 2021 strong; emulating her siblings with an outstanding promotional debut against Sunisa Srisen at ONE: Fists of Fury. Despite taking time off for school, the hope is that she can keep the momentum going with another spectacular finish.
Regretfully, fans aren’t as impressed by Zeba Bano’s start with ONE Championship compared to Victoria. Suffice to say, Bano has had a rough year. She lost to ‘Wondergirl’ Nat Jaroonsak via armbar in May and then missed weight for her second outing against Lea Bivins at ONE 159, withdrawing from competition at the last minute.
Bano will get her third opportunity to prove her doubters wrong, but the task ahead won’t be easy.
Victoria Lee says she’s proud of Christian Lee’s latest achievements in ONE Championship
By now, Victoria Lee knows how world champions are made. She recently witnessed her older brother Christian Lee put in the work at their home gym in Hawaii, to prepare for a welterweight war against divisional former world champion Kiamrian Abbasov.
Defying all odds, Christian picked up his second world title after finishing Abbasov in the fourth round by TKO punches.
Elated by her brother’s recent accomplishment, Victoria posted a picture of her brother holding both belts on Instagram with the following caption:
“DOUBLE CHAMP!! I’m so proud of you @christianleemma. It was amazing to be able to watch all the hard work you put into this camp pay off in a truly incredible performance!”
