Danielle Kelly plans to bring the heat in her highly-anticipated rematch against Jessa Khan.
In March 2022, Kelly competed under the ONE banner for the first time. Since then, she has dominated the ONE atomweight submission grappling division, leading to a pair of triumphs and a couple of US$50,000 performance bonuses.
The 27-year-old American is now preparing for a tough test, as she’s scheduled to face Khan for the inaugural atomweight submission grappling world title at ONE Fight Night 14.
This won’t be the first time Danielle Kelly and Jessa Khan have competed in a submission grappling match.

In February 2021, the Cambodian-American secured a decision win at a WNO event. Because of that outcome, Kelly has been eager for revenge, which she hopes to claim in their rematch.
During an interview with Morning Kombat, Kelly had this to say about bringing the heat on September 29nd:
“Yeah, I bring the attitude. I think I have the Philly attitude. I’m definitely bringing the aggression to this match. There’s no holding back.”
Danielle Kelly has faced several high-level opponents in the circle, but Jessa Khan will be arguably her most formidable opponent yet.
Although Khan is making her ONE debut, she has plenty of experience for a 21-year-old, including a gold medal in the 2023 IBJJF World Championships. The AOJ affiliate now looks to make history by defeating Kelly again and becoming a world champion.
Meanwhile, Kelly has been focused on claiming ONE gold since joining the promotion. After three matches with ONE, the Silver Fox BJJ affiliate has a massive opportunity to kill two birds with one stone by claiming the atomweight throne and avenging her loss against Khan.
Danielle Kelly vs. Jessa Khan is one of three world title matchups taking place at ONE Fight Night 14. The Singapore Indoor Stadium event can be seen live and for free by North American viewers with an active Amazon Prime Video subscription.
