"There's been a lot of learning involved" - Fabricio Andrade says time as the bantamweight MMA king has spurred his growth

Fabricio Andrade has been a staple of ONE Championship's MMA roster ever since he debuted with the promotion in 2020.

His run of impressive finishes and dominant performances saw him ascend the bantamweight ladder all the way to world champion status.

Andrade's two fights with John Lineker proved that he was the best in the weight class but a scary thought for the division is that he's still getting better.

Not many reach the pinnacle at just 27 years old and as a result, 'Wonder Boy' is effectively learning on the job, both in and out of the ring.

It's been over a year since we last saw him but Andrade is confident that he's been steadily evolving and improving ever since he became the world champion.

Andrade spoke about the strides that he has made both as a fighter and as a person during a recent exclusive interview with Sportskeeda MMA:

"I think the past couple of years after I've become the world champion, there's been a lot of learning involved, how to grow professionally and in my personal life."

It has taken Fabricio Andrade a long time to return to action but you can be sure that when he does, he'll want to show these improvements.

At ONE 170, the bantamweight king is back to face Kwon Won Il in a rematch on Jan. 24 at the Impact Arena in Bangkok.

The last time that they met in 2022, Andrade ended the fight in just over a minute. Although, his challenger has been able to bounce back in impressive fashion, 'Wonder Boy' is only getting better.

We will find out whether he has been able to improve during his time away when he finally steps back inside the ring to defend his world championship for the first time.
