Fabricio Andrade knows he is levels above 'Pretty Boy' Kwon Won Il. In case there's any doubt, the Brazilian is ready to prove it again come ONE 170 on Jan. 24.

The Brazilian fighter defends his ONE bantamweight MMA world title against the South Korean inside the Impact Arena in Bangkok, Thailand.

With a blueprint already at his disposal to overcome the challenger — a first-round knockout win at ONE 158 in 2022 — the Evolve MMA and Tiger Muay Thai star remains certain that nothing the No.3-ranked challenger brings to the table will surprise him.

He told Nick Atkin in a pre-fight interview:

"There's nothing he can do to stop me."

While momentum does not favor him, as he has not competed since November 2023 due to a series of injuries, Fabricio Andrade promises to bring a new version of himself to halt Kwon's impressive three-match winning run.

To add a cherry on the cake, 'Wonder Boy' hopes to author another highlight-reel moment to show that he's not lost a step despite his lengthy absence.

He continued:

"Man, I will perform, you know. I will do everything that I'm working on, and I just want to get in there and have fun, and I know if I fight the way I know how to fight, I'm going to finish him."

Fabricio Andrade vows to "surprise" Kwon Won Il in redo

If Kwon Won Il does bring a much-improved version in their sequel, Fabricio Andrade is ready to dig a bit deeper into his bag of tricks than to solely rely on his world-class stand-up skills.

In a separate interview with Sportskeeda MMA, the 27-year-old shared:

"My mission is to come out with a new game plan to surprise him on fight night."

ONE 170, which takes place inside the Impact Arena, will be available to combat sports enthusiasts via watch.onefc.com this Friday, Jan. 24.
