Former ONE bantamweight kickboxing world champion Petchtanong Petchfergus of Thailand is going into his next fight with no strategy. And that's how he likes it.
The 39-year-old veteran out of Superbon Training Camp is getting ready to face a young 6-foot phenom in countryman Nabil Anane, and the former divisional king isn't sweating it one bit.
Speaking to Bangkok Post in a recent interview, Petchtanong bared his game plan for this fight.

The Thai star said:
"There is no strict plan for this fight. No matter what he throws at me, I'm going to have to keep dealing with it."
Petchtanong is coming off a successful comeback fight last June when he took care of business against fellow former titleholder Alaverdi Ramazanov. The Thai star took home a thrilling second-round technical knockout victory, signaling his return to the world's largest martial arts organization.
Now, the Superbon Training Camp product wants to make a statement against Anane and begin his march toward reclaiming his lost gold.
Petchtanong added:
"I'm only hoping for a chance to get a title shot. I’m aiming to reign over this division again. I’m ready."
Fans won't have to wait long to see Petchtanong back in action this weekend.
