"There will be ZERO grappling in this fight" - Nina-Marie Daniele reacts to announcement of exciting matchup for UFC Saudi Arabia 2025's co-main event

Nina-Marie Daniele made the perfect call on the UFC's biggest fight announcement yesterday. On UFC Saudi Arabia on Feb. 1, 2025, No.14 middleweight Sharabutdin 'Shara Bullet' Magomedov and no.15 welterweight Michael 'Venom' Page will co-headline the card.

ESPN MMA uploaded the news on Instagram with the caption:

"Shara Magomedov will face Michael Venom Page at #UFCSaudiArabia in the co-main event on February 1, Dana White announced."

Daniele commented what nearly every MMA fan was thinking:

"There will be ZERO grappling in this fight 👊🏼"

Daniele hit the nail on the head there by is going to be a stand-up war. You could probably count on one hand the combined number of takedown attempts by 'Shara Bullet' and 'MVP'. Page is a life-long kickboxer before transitioning into MMA and Magomedov has 13 out of his 15 wins come by way of knockout. Both men are dynamic strikers with very distinct styles.

Magomedov's last outing was a Performance of the Night-winning KO of Armen Petrosyan at UFC 308 last October. It was a rare double-spinning back-fist that sent Petrosyan to the negative zone.

While Page hasn't scored a stoppage in his UFC run yet, much of his highlight reel KOs happened in his time in Bellator, namely his finishes of Evangelista 'Cyborg' Santos, Goiti Yamauchi, and Richard Kiely.

When Nina-Marie Daniele learned Muay Thai and sparred with 'Shara Bullet'

What makes Nina-Marie Daniele's content so viral is her off-the-wall humor and willingness to go to places other media personalities don't have the heart for. A perfect example is when she had herself leg kicked by one of the most lethal leg kickers in MMA history, Alex Pereira. The kick's impact was so real that it left a bruise on Daniele's leg.

One of her funniest videos was when she went into the gym and trained Muay Thai with Sharabutdin Magomedov - even playing sparring with him. It was like watching a normal person attempt to play fight with a tiger. It's all play for the tiger - but lethal for the person.

One of the funniest bits was when Magomedov's trainer was teaching Daniele a highly-complicated spinning tornado kick. Upon hearing the instructions, Nina-Marie Daniele said (13:17):

"You want me to scissor-tornado kick him with a jab? You know I just create content, right?"
