The world has taken notice of Hollywood star James McAvoy's recent comments regarding Andrew Tate. McAvoy disclosed that he drew inspiration from Tate for his psychopath character in his upcoming movie 'Speak no Evil'.
Many may view Tate as the embodiment of toxic masculinity and a masculine chauvinist. His profoundly misogynistic character is greatly influenced by his divisive views on gender roles in society and his conviction that women are only men's property.
Tate seems to have had a significant influence on McAvoy's preparations for his upcoming psychological thriller movie, which is set to hit theaters on Sept. 13. In a recent interview with Empire magazine, the 45-year-old discussed his character 'Paddy,' saying:
''The thing I thought I could exploit in the character was, he thinks he’s a bit of a f— West Country Andrew Tate. He’s like, ‘I’m going to teach you what it’s like to be a man again.’ But there’s a sort of polite face on it that isn’t quite Andrew Tate, enough of a sheen of, ‘I’m not one of those guys.''' When Andrew Tate ruled out a potential fight with Conor McGregor
Conor McGregor previously expressed his support for Andrew Tate and his brother Tristan Tate during a livestream with Duelbits. Before that, Tate had backed McGregor after the former two-division UFC champion had criticized the Irish government for allowing illegal immigration into the country.
The prospect of Tate facing McGregor intrigued many, but in a 2022 interview with Rob Moore, the 37-year-old rejected the notion of facing the MMA icon. He said:
''I mean he [McGregor] is still in his prime, I’m a lot bigger than him. He is very good, very capable. We would certainly have a lot of good trash talk. It would make a lot of money. But again I would need a personal problem with him to fight him...I have nothing against Conor, kind of like the guy so there would have to be a good reason.”
