Former K-1 champion Kana Morimoto believes a debut victory is in the offing when she squares off against French-Algerian striking great Anissa Meksen at ONE Friday Fights 92 on Dec. 20.
That evening, inside Bangkok's famed Lumpinee Stadium, the Japanese superstar will open her ONE Championship account against 'C18' in an atomweight kickboxing encounter.
'Krusher Queen' has ramped up her preparations in her bid to kick things off in style. From her training sessions at Team Aftermath in Japan and Superbon Training Camp in Thailand, the 32-year-old admits she's slowly starting to see a more visible path to victory.

ONE Championship caught up with Kana Morimoto to get her thoughts on her readiness, and she had this to say in response:
"I've finally started to see clear paths to victory against Anissa, and these patterns are coming together in training. So I feel the preparation is going well."
Kana Morimoto joined the promotional roster with plenty of hype, and when the time for talking is over, the Japanese kickboxing megastar is fired up to dazzle on the global stage for the first time.
With her radar firmly locked in on 'The Queen' Phetjeeja Lukjaoporongtom's ONE atomweight kickboxing world championship, an impressive debut is all she needs to hit the ground running.
ONE Friday Fights 92 will be available live and for free on ONE Championship's official YouTube channel, the ONE Super App, and watch.onefc.com.
Anissa Meksen needs a big win over Kana Morimoto to keep herself in the world title picture
Kana's confidence is at its peak as this ONE Friday Fights 92 contest draws near. The same cannot be said for Anissa Meksen, though.
The kickboxing specialist has found victories hard to come by in her last two outings under the spotlight, suffering defeats in world title contests against Phetjeeja and Jackie Buntan.
Though she took both fights to the final rounds, her inability to chain her usual combinations cost her big time.
With experience and a world-class fight IQ, thankfully, Meksen doesn't have to rejig things too drastically to get herself back into the win column.
As long as she stays at the top of her game at fight night, a victory should be in sight for the legendary kickboxer.
