UFC CEO Dana White recently announced the lineup for UFC 304, scheduled to take place at the Co-op Live arena in Manchester, England on July 27. The eighth pay-per-view event of 2024 also marks the MMA promotion's return to the city for the first time since 2016.
In the main event, reigning welterweight champion Leon Edwards will put his title on the line against former rival Belal Muhammad. 'Rocky' is currently on a 13-fight unbeaten streak and is set to make his third title defense since claiming the belt from Kamaru Usman at UFC 278.
Meanwhile, Muhammad is on a solid 10-fight unbeaten streak and solidified his position as the top contender in the division by defeating Gilbert Burns at UFC 288 last May. Edwards and Muhammad previously squared off in March 2021, but their match ended in a no-contest after 'Remember the Name' was unable to continue due to an accidental eye-poke in the second round.
In the co-main event of UFC 304, Tom Aspinall is set to defend his interim heavyweight title for the first time in a rematch against Curtis Blaydes. Aspinall won the belt by defeating Sergei Pavlovich last November at UFC 295, an event initially intended to feature Jon Jones defending his undisputed title against Stipe Miocic.

Aspinall's sole loss in the UFC occurred against Blaydes at UFC London in July 2022, although the outcome was overshadowed by the Brit sustaining an unexpected knee injury just 15 seconds into the bout.
