ONE heavyweight champion, Arjan Singh Bhullar, has seemingly offered to trade for apparently wantaway UFC star Petr Yan but only for "the right offer".

There are growing concerns surrounding the former UFC bantamweight champion's future in the promotion. In a recent episode of ESPN's DC & RC show, Daniel Cormier claimed he'd heard rumors about Yan considering the possibility of parting ways with the UFC and moving elsewhere.

According to 'DC', Yan is apparently miffed with the promotion for not having his back. This comes after the Russian's controversial split decision loss to Sean O'Malley at the recently concluded UFC 280 pay-per-view. Although the judges gave the nod to 'Sugar,' many felt Yan was the rightful winner.

Before fighting O'Malley, Yan suffered another split decision loss against Aljamain Sterling in a close fight, which many feel could have gone either way. If Yan is indeed looking to leave the UFC, Arjan Singh Bhullar has an interesting proposal.

In response to journalist John Hyon Ko asking who ONE Championship should trade with the UFC if Yan moves to the Singaporean promotion, Bhullar hinted that he may be open to a potential octagon return down the line.

If such a move does take place, Bhullar claimed he'd "right the wrongs" of Ben Askren. Askren famously switched to the UFC from ONE Championship in 2019 as part of a trade deal which saw Demetrious Johnson move to the Singaporean promotion.

"Funky" failed to become champion in the UFC and retired with a 1-2 record in the promotion.

Joe Rogan believes Petr Yan won against Sean O'Malley but explains why judges may have given nod to 'Sugar'

UFC commentator Joe Rogan recently broke down the Petr Yan vs. Sean O'Malley clash. In the latest episode of his Joe Rogan Experience podcast, the 55-year-old said it was a closely fought contest and also credited 'Sugar' for bringing the fight to the former champion.

Having said that, it Rogan's eyes, Petr Yan did enough to pick up the win on the night because of the several takedowns he managed to secure over three rounds. Rogan, however, feels that the judges may have given the nod to O'Malley because Yan failed to cause much damage despite securing takedowns and controlling his opponent on the ground.

He said:

"I’m not denying that I thought Petr Yan won, because I did think he won at the end of it, but takedowns without damage versus standup with damage, because ‘Sugar’ landed more strikes standing and had big moments. Yan had some big moments, too, one big left hand that rocked him. The question is how valuable are those takedowns and how valuable is that top game, that control?"
