Jake Paul and Mike Perry's fight week antics have taken a turn for the theatrics. The two boxers, scheduled to meet on July 20 in Tampa, Florida, engaged in a bizarre pre-fight face-off that left fans both confused and entertained.
During the intense staredown, which typically involves trash talk and boasts about fighting prowess, things took a wild turn. Paul, known for his flamboyant personality, steered the conversation away from boxing and launched into an impersonation of Hulk Hogan, half of the iconic professional wrestling duo 'The Mega Powers'. Perry, seemingly on board with the act, joined in, channeling his inner Macho Man Randy Savage.
A video of the exchange, shared by the combat sports account @HappyPunch quickly went viral. Paul, channeling his best Hulkster, declared:
"You listen to me brother, you're going down. Flat into the ground. When I get my hands on you Saturday night, I'm gonna eat you in one bite!"

Jake Paul claims the Mike Perry fight is an "appetizer" going into the Mike Tyson fight later this year
Jake Paul was recently warned by his upcoming opponent that his fight against Mike Tyson might be scrapped altogether.
Paul was originally scheduled to fight Tyson in July but the legendary heavyweight boxer pulled out due to health issues. The fight has been rescheduled for November, however, Paul's immediate focus is on his return to the ring this weekend against former Mike Perry in Florida.
Perry, known for his success in bare-knuckle boxing, aims to derail Paul's plans for the Tyson fight. Perry declared during a pre-fight face-off:
"That's not happening"
Paul downplayed the threat, insisting the Tyson fight is still on and this bout is merely a warm-up:
"I take big risks, that's why I put it all on the line. I don't stop for anybody, I want to stay active. I'm on the road to becoming world champion and this is a Mike appetiser... this is good little warm-up for me, a Mike appetizer." [H/t: Mirror]
