Who knew that Mike Tyson and Jake Paul would become best friends after their fight? In a recent viral clip, 'The Problem Child' can be seen hoisting the boxing legend over his shoulder during the US presidential inauguration party. From the looks of it, it seems like the two never spent eight rounds boxing each other just a few months ago.

Joe Rogan's surprisinig take on the Jake Paul vs Mike Tyson fight

While there's a lot of speculation that the Paul-Tyson fight was "fake" and that the two lightly sparred to earn over $20 million, MMA commentator and podcaster Joe Rogan had a different take. The stand-up comic is just happy that this childhood hero came out unscathed. He also gave Paul the props he deserves.

Rogan said:

"I'm glad he [Tyson] got through that fight and didn't get hurt. I was hoping that he would knock Jake Paul out [laughs] just because that's the Cinderella story. I don't have anything against Jake Paul. I like Jake Paul. I think what he's doing is genius. I mean, he's making insane amounts of money, he's having a great f*cking time, [and] he's a legit boxer, he's absolutely a legit boxer."

Across eight two-minute rounds, Paul landed 78 of 278 punches, with 31 of 179 jabs connecting. Meanwhile, Tyson landed a measly 18 of 97 punches, with only five of 62 jabs connecting.

Even with the lukewarm performance by both fighters, both came out with multi-million dollars in their bank accounts. Paul reportedly earned a guaranteed $40 million, while Tyson earned a whopping $20 million - the biggest payout for any athlete his age.
