Sean O'Malley has not returned to the octagon since defeating Marlon 'Chito' Vera via unanimous decision in the main event of UFC 299 to defend his title for the first time. The bantamweight champion recently revealed that he was the victim of a swatting prank at his house.

Speaking on his podcast, TimboSugarShow, he stated:

"I've heard about the big, big streamers getting swatted. People find out where they're at, call the cops, say something happened that obviously didn't happen and then they f**king get swatted... I got f**king shotguns pointed at me, AR's from like four different cops pointed at me and I was just like, 'I'm going to listen and f**king walk back'... They didn't have me get on the ground. I just turn around, walk backwards with my hands up, put me in handcuffs, put me in the cop car."

"They didn't know who I was and then a couple other cops pulled up and they did and it got a lot less intense... They said I killed my parents or something like that. They thought there was an active shooter inside... Someone called the cops and said there's an active shooter and two dead people in the house... Little f**k. I wish we could find that little weasel that called them."

Conor McGregor reveals why he called out Sean O'Malley

Sean O'Malley has not been shy about his admiration for Conor McGregor, labeling the former double champ as his idol and one of the biggest influences of his career. 'The Notorious' recently aimed 'Suga', leading to a back-and-forth between the two.

Speaking to Duelbits, McGregor revealed why he targeted the bantamweight champion, stating:

"I like Sean O'Malley. I do actually like Sean... He kind of got caught in the cross hairs. He also said something like he'd beat me. Not in his wildest dreams, but I do like Sean... You can't be cheating and using performance enhancing drugs in competition. O'Malley has been nice to me and I know I motivated him to probably take up this career as I've done to many people. So, we'll figure it out. We'll take off the gloves and fight, b**ch and we'll figure it out and we'll see then what's what."

McGregor previously noted that Ryan Garcia testing positive for ostarine reminded him of when O'Malley did the same in 2018. 'The Notorious' is set to make his highly-anticipated return to the octagon when he faces Michael Chandler at UFC 303 next month.
