Freddie Haggerty has certainly proven his worth, yet Jonathan Haggerty knows his younger brother has yet to show what he's truly capable of. The Haggerty boys have been two of the best strikers of this generation, and Jonathan said Freddie is often the more aggressive brother during training.
In an interview on the Winners Talking Podcast, Jonathan revealed that Freddie has a certain edge whenever they're in the gym together.
The reigning ONE bantamweight kickboxing world champion said his younger brother is always determined to get one over during training and will stop at nothing to achieve his desired results.

"Yeah yeah. The younger brothers always have that kind of mentality, 'cause I don’t know why they do, they go down the line, and they scrap more," said Jonathan Haggerty.
Freddie is a perfect 3-0 under the ONE Championship banner, with all three of his wins coming via concussive knockout.
The younger Haggerty is coming off a sublime left hook knockout of Kaoklai Chor Hapayak in his latest matchup at ONE Friday Fights 91 earlier this month.
Jonathan, meanwhile, is a former ONE flyweight and bantamweight Muay Thai world champion.
'The General' is now set to defend his ONE bantamweight kickboxing world title against Chinese icon Wei Rui in the main event of the stacked ONE 171 card on Feb. 20, 2025, at Lusail Sports Arena in Qatar.
Jonathan Haggerty believes younger Freddie will become a better fighter than him
Older brothers often become role models for their younger siblings, but Jonathan Haggerty believes his younger brother Freddie is bound to surpass his achievements in ONE Championship.
Jonathan said in the same interview that Freddie has what it takes to become a better fighter than him in the long run:
"Yeah, well, he's going to be better than me, you know. He's got me. I hope he's better than me, you know. He's got something to look to overtake me, surpass me, you know."
Freddie, though, has some huge milestones to complete if Jonathan's prediction should come true.
Jonathan is a former ONE flyweight and bantamweight Muay Thai world champion and currently reigns as the ONE bantamweight kickboxing world champion.
