Possessing a strong background in Brazilian jiu-jitsu (BJJ) is a must for MMA athletes, and grappling sensation Dante Leon noted that a move to the multi-faceted combat sport could be in his future.
The BJJ black belter said as much in a recent interview with Jits Magazine:
"I can never say what I'm going to do in the future. Things can change. You know, guys are funny. Sometimes we go through something in our lives and we want to do something different. But I'm very confident that I will just do jiu-jitsu for my career."
He continued:

"I will train and compete for as long as I can. I have a lot of years left. I think I have at least a decade left to be at the top. So I have a long time left. I have a long time to grow with this sport, to help this sport grow."

Dante Leon is coming off a superb promotional debut in December when he forced BJJ star and ONE featherweight MMA competitor Bruno Pucci to submit in just two minutes.
He will look to keep the ball rolling when he squares off with former tormentor Tommy Langaker at ONE Fight Night 27 on Friday, Jan. 10, inside the Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand.
The event will air live and free to all Prime Video subscribers in the United States and Canada.

Dante Leon was warmly received by the fans after a rousing introduction by ONE ring announcer Dominic Lau during his promotional debut at ONE Fight Night 26, and he certainly felt it.
The 29-year-old talked about the energy he felt inside the legendary Lumpinee Stadium in an interview with ONE following his maiden victory, saying:
"I've never been in an arena that has such impactful energy as this stadium does. It feels like the fans are on top of you, and not in a bad way."
