Jake Paul appeared set to take on Mike Tyson in a professional boxing match at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, live on Netflix on July 20. The bout was postponed, however, as the International Boxing Hall of Famer suffered an ulcer flare-up while on a flight late last month. The social media personality will reportedly face Mike Perry on that date as he waits for 'Iron Mike' to recover.
Spinnin Backfist shared the news, which was originally broken by Happy Punch, tweeting:
"MIKE PERRY GETS HIS HUGE FIGHT Mike Perry vs. Jake Paul | July 20th per // @HappyPunch"

Dana White blasts Jake Paul for Mike Tyson fight
Dana White is not a fan of Jake Paul, while he shares a strong friendship with Mike Tyson. The UFC CEO blasted the social media personality for the scheduled boxing match between the two during a recent appearance on the Flagrant podcast with Andrew Schulz, stating:
"If I brought up f**king Jake Paul, pretty much everybody in the room and the other room wants to see Jake Paul get knocked out... When this fight happens, Tyson will be 58 f**king years old. Under any circumstances, a f**king almost 60 year old man shouldn't be fighting a 27 year old f**king guy. Under any circumstances. Even if it's Mike Tyson, so it's f**king ridiculous."

White noted that when Paul fought a boxer his age and size, he lost for the first time in his career. He speculated that the social media personality will not go down the route of fighting boxers after suffering that loss. The bout has been rescheduled for Nov. 15 following Tyson's health issues.
