Jeremy Miado is looking to get back in the win column at ONE Fight Night 23 after a tough run of results.
At one stage, 'The Jaguar' broke into the strawweight MMA rankings following his three-fight win streak. The same momentum has not carried over into his recent appearances, where he finds himself winless in his last three.
His opponent on June 5, Hiroba Minowa, finds himself in a similar position after his own run of difficult fights and disappointing results. The difference is that off the back of his wins when he arrived at the promotion, Minowa was able to secure a spot in the rankings.
With that in mind, Miado sees this fight as a big opportunity for him to bounce back against a ranked opponent.

He spoke in a recent interview with The MMA Superfan about what this fight could do for him:
"I accepted this fight knowing I had a long time to prepare for an opponent of his caliber. This is also a big opportunity for me since Minowa is ranked fourth in the division."

Jeremy Miado is coming to respond
You really learn about a fighter when they're forced to overcome adversity and that has been the case with Jeremy Miado.
Despite his downturn in form as of late, he is still motivated to come back and show the ONE Championship fans what he is capable of in the strawweight MMA division.
Defeating Hiroba Minowa at Lumpinee Stadium is how he can prove a point to his supporters, the other contenders and most importantly, himself.
He won't be short on motivation coming into this fight where he has the opportunity to flip the table on his fortunes by returning to the win column on June 5.
