Undefeated Kyrgyzstani MMA fighter Akbar Abdullaev is known for his explosive finishing ability, going 11-0 in his budding MMA career thus far, including 10 knockouts and one submission.
But apart from his dangerous hands, Abdullaev says opponents should also worry about his wrestling, which he cultivated in the mountains of Dagestan all those years ago.
Speaking to ONE Championship in a recent interview, Abdullaev says fans should not be shocked if he decides to take matters to the ground against featherweight MMA king Tang Kai this weekend.

The 27-year-old Tiger Muay Thai representative said:
"I can’t say I had no experience in wrestling. This is in our blood. I spend much time working on my wrestling, both on the offensive and defensive side."
Abdullaev will return to the world's largest martial arts organization this Friday night to face his toughest test yet in the promotion. A victory over Tang Kai would no doubt boost his stock to epic heights in ONE Championship.
