Dylan Budka came in two and a half pounds heavy at UFC Vegas 97 weigh-ins but it was his clear lack of stability on the scales that drew the attention of many in the MMA world.
The UFC middleweight is booked for the preliminary portion of Saturday night's card but took to the scales for what was described by MMA Junkie as a scary weigh-in with video footage of Budka being shared on their Instagram.
Budka had what many could potentially refer to as a thousand yard stare and Budka seemed like he was swaying while the commission official took his weight at the time. He then seemed to have a difficult time getting off the scales and was helped along by on-site personnel as he shuffled off the stage.
Many mixed martial arts fans and fighters alike took to the IG comment section and offered their thoughts on the concerning visual that they had just seen.

Dylan Budka and additional noteworthy comments on this UFC weigh-in post
Dylan Budka had a lot of people talking even beyond some of the highlighted comments from above.
The 24-year-old had many engaging in discourse about how this fight would not end up taking place tomorrow night. MMA Junkie reporter Mike Bohn took to the comment section to relay that UFC officials have announced that Budka has been cleared to fight but will be fined 20 percent of his fight purse for the weight miss.
Budka's opponent Andre Petroski took to the comment section of this post to drive fans toward watching his Instagram story to see how the story ends. The Maryland native was also the butt of several jokes positing that he wasn't sober including from UFC vet Cody Stamann who joked that the behavior looked like what one would be doing after having seven drinks.
Dylan Budka seeks out his first UFC win after losing in his octagon debut in April following an effort last September on Contender Series to punch his ticket to the main stage. Budka fell short to Cesar Almeida via strikes in the second stanza of their UFC Fight Night contest in April.
