John Lineker has officially made waves in a new striking discipline.
Lineker marked his Muay Thai debut with a recent victory over Asa Ten Pow at ONE 168: Denver, and now, the former ONE bantamweight MMA world champion wants more of it.
Despite still focusing on his bread-and-butter in the mixed martial arts world, the Brazilian veteran knows that he would be going well with his aggression and deadly punches against all the best strikers that the organization may have.
Lineker told ONE Championship in a recent interview following his stellar performance inside Denver's Ball Arena at the expense of Ten Pow:

“I had a great performance, I managed to be very aggressive, as I am in all my fights.”
Nonetheless, he does not stop there. 'Hands of Stone' wants to put his dynamite hands in another brawl against the greats.
He added:
“But the Muay Thai fight I have in mind would be against Rodtang. Because of the height and physical structure, this fight would be a great match. It would be a great show for the fans!”
Regardless of whether this clash with Rodtang would happen or not, Lineker believes that he has expanded his perspective as a fighter in this stage of his career.

John Lineker's Muay Thai debut ends with a $50,000 performance bonus
John Lineker did not expect his debut to be such a great mark in his career, especially with the $50,000 bonus he received as the icing on the cake from ONE Chairman and CEO Chatri Sityodtong.
The Brazilian scored a second-round KO over Asa Ten Pow in the promotion's second live on-ground spectacle in the United States, and he became part of the other five athletes who received similar bonuses that evening.
Joining Lineker were Johan Estupinan of Colombia, Adrian Lee (Singapore/USA), Johan Ghazali (Malaysia/USA), as well as Thailand's Seksan Or Kwanmuang and Superlek Kiatmoo9.
With such a feat at ONE 168, John Lineker's overall ONE Championship record moved to 7-2.
