"This is going to be brutally on fire" - Rodtang says Tawanchai-Superbon II will blow the roof off Impact Arena on January 24

Former ONE flyweight Muay Thai world champion Rodtang Jitmuangnon is looking forward to the world championship rematch between Tawanchai PK Saenchai and Superbon for the ONE featherweight Muay Thai world title on Jan. 24 at ONE 170.

The two Thai superstars will headline the stacked event inside the sold-out Impact Arena in Bangkok, Thailand.

In a recent interview with the world's largest martial arts organization, Rodtang revealed the motivation among his compatriots and anticipates an all-out war.

'The Iron Man' said:

"Superbon would love to win the belt, while Tawanchai needs to defend it for his own future and dream. None of them [are] going to be [weak]. This is going to be brutally on fire."

Tawanchai, who defends his featherweight Muay Thai crown once more, drew first blood in their head-to-head battle when he took home a close majority decision win over Superbon during their first meeting in December 2023 at ONE Friday Fights 46.

Since that fight, both striking superstars have won their respective assignments to set up this gigantic rematch.

Superbon vows to perform at his best at ONE 170 because he's not bothered by any injuries no more

The reigning ONE featherweight kickboxing world champion promises that he will perform better against Tawanchai because, this time, he is not bothered by any injuries.

Superbon shared this in a recent interview before the bout, where he said:

"The other mistake is that I didn't have the time to train due to the accumulated injuries that caused me to pause fighting last time. It was clearly seen I got exhausted due to the tear in my calf muscle. That caused me to tone it down. In the upcoming fight, I'd be 100% ready since I no longer have the injury like the last fight."
