Third-ranked ONE Championship flyweight MMA contender 'The King' Danny Kingad of the Philippines will finally meet former divisional king 'Mikinho' Adriano Moraes in a long overdue rematch.
Kingad and Moraes first met at ONE: Legends of the World in Nov. 2017, when the Brazilian was still the champion of the weight class. Now, the two are ready to rehash their rivalry on the biggest stage.
Speaking to Tiebreaker Times, Kingad shared his thoughts on the upcoming rematch with the former ONE flyweight MMA world champion.

'The King' said:
"I’m super excited for my next fight. I cannot wait to perform there and try to put on a show. I know this is a great chance to make a statement and bring back the finishes. If it all falls into plan, I really want to get that knockout. I want that highlight-reel knockout. I haven’t gotten one yet."
Kingad wants to make a statement at Moraes' expense. And if he's victorious, the Filipino star believes he could earn a world title shot against none other than 'Mighty Mouse' Demetrious Johnson himself.
He added:
"Just winning isn’t enough. I need to make a statement. A spectacular finish is what’s required to catch the eye of Demetrious Johnson and the ONE Championship brass. I’m ready to prove that I’m not just another contender but a worthy challenger for the title."
