Three-division MMA world champion Anatoly Malykhin has always been dismissive of the threat, or lack thereof, that 'Reug Reug' Oumar Kane brings.
The Russian juggernaut will defend his heavyweight MMA throne for the first time against the Senegalese giant in the curtain closer of ONE 169: Malykin vs Reug Reug this coming Nov. 8 at Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand.
In the build-up to this colossal showdown, the outspoken challenger hasn't been shy about supposedly being the man to end Malykhin's fearsome undefeated reign.
'Reug Reug' even went as far as guaranteeing a knockout win over 'Sladkiy', who has never been bested in 14 professional fights.

It appears that Anatoly Malyhin had a good laugh over his challenger's latest provocations.
The heavyweight, light heavyweight, and middleweight MMA world titleholder told ONE Championship:
"This guy is utterly helpless. As I have already said, he is a fitness fighter. He lacks knockout power, has never shaken anybody, never knocked down anybody, but keeps saying he would knock me out!"
When it comes to raw and unadulterated knockout power, Anatoly Malykhin remains unmatched.
The triple MMA world champion boasts an absurd 100 percent finishing rate, and he'll look to up that number more by making 'Reug Reug' pay for his words.
Anatoly Malykhin cites why 'Reug Reug' doesn't have a sliver of a chance to dethrone him
At the end of the day, Anatoly Malykhin fights not just for fame, glory, and riches.
Martial arts is and will always be 'Sladkiy's passion and way of life. The 36-year-old Russian conqueror, though, doesn't think 'Reug Reug' carries the same burning desire as much as he does. Malykhin told ONE:
"He [Reug Reug] doesn’t love fighting. This is a necessary measure for him. A man who lives in fear and doesn’t love fighting will never be able to beat me."
