"This is just the beginning" - Adrian Lee vows bigger things after stellar ONE Championship debut at ONE 167

There are a handful of next-generation stars that are ready to break out on the international stage and ONE Championship's lightweight MMA division recently welcomed Adrian Lee to the ranks.

The youngest member of the legendary Lee family made his debut at ONE 167 last Friday, June 7 against fellow promotional newcomer Antonio Mammarella in the undercard.

Similar to how older sibling and two-division ONE world champion Christian Lee fought when he first came onto the scene, 'The Phenom' blitzed the MMAFFT fighter to produce a submission win in the second round.

Lee took to Instagram after his big win and wrote:

"1-0. Thank you to my coaches, teammates, and family. I couldn't be here without them! This is just the beginning 👊"

With a lineage of combat sports greatness behind him as his parents, Ken and Jewelz, were both martial arts practitioners, how Adrian Lee performed was none too surprising for many fans.

Add in the fact that 'The Warrior' was in his corner during the fight and helped him prepare for the debut, the 18-year-old had all the tools he needed to come away with the win.

Because of the amount of work and pressure that Adrian Lee must have felt ahead of his debut, his older brother could not feel anything else but elation for him to do so well under the bright lights of the pro scene.

On his own Instagram account, Lee shared some photos of the newest pro athlete in the family and wrote the following caption:

"So incredibly proud of my bro! #THEPHENOM gets it done Rd. 2 via Rear Naked Choke!"
