ONE Championship chairman and CEO Chatri Sityodtong dropped a bombshell the other week, announcing that his promotion is teaming up with award-winning actor Russell Crowe to develop a new film called 'The Beast In Me'.
Now in a recent interview with the media, Sityodtong revealed a few details of the movie and what fans should look forward to.
If you're expecting ONE Championship to make a cameo as some cheesy part of the background plot, you're mistaken, according to Sityodtong. ONE will actually be a major part of the storyline.

Speaking to reporters, he said:
"Russell Crowe and his team approached our team at ONE several months ago, and through all the discussions. Russell Crowe, in addition to Dave Frigerio who is writing the script, and there was a very strong interest in ONE Championship being a part of the storyline. So this is not just a cameo."
Sityodtong added:
"The storyline, Russell Crowe is an ex-fighter turned coach in ONE Championship. His student is going to go come back and fight in ONE Championship. He used to be a World Champion in ONE Championship, and he's coming back because his brother got injured by an illegal blow in ONE Championship. And so there's a whole drama, the whole movie is interwoven."
Filming is slated to begin this December, with the movie's final scene to be shot in Bangkok, Thailand, at a live ONE Championship event.
