Fans reacted to UFC superstar Paddy Pimblett traveling to a rival MMA gym to settle his rivalry with Denis Frimpong.
Over the past few years, the MMA scene in England has expanded significantly, creating competition between training gyms. Two of the country's most respected gyms are Next Generation MMA in Liverpool (Pimblett, Molly McCann, Shem Rock, and Nathan Fletcher) and Manchester Top Team (Frimpong, Lerone Murphy, and Jonas Magard).
On Saturday, Pimblett and his Next Generation teammates traveled to Manchester Top Team so the UFC lightweight could settle a social media beef with OKTAGON's Frimpong. The clash ended with Pimblett submitting Frimpong by rear-naked choke and ignoring his tap until other people separated them.

Paddy Pimblett's latest encounter wasn't a professional fight, but he did continue his winning ways. Since making his UFC debut in September 2021, the No.13-ranked lightweight has established a 6-0 promotional record, including four inside the distance.

Denis Frimpong was on the wrong end of the physical altercation with Paddy Pimblett, especially considering Pimblett nearly left him unconscious. Following the intense showdown, Frimpong took to his temporary Instagram story and had this to say:
"Regardless of how the straightener ended I know my level. Need to work on some wrestling defence tho ahlie"
Denis Frimpong initially made a name for himself in OKTAGON during their reality TV show, 'OKTAGON Challenge.' The 30-year-old has since expanded his platform with social media antics and a 2-1 promotional record.
Frimpong is expected to return to OKTAGON later this year following a one-off fight stint with Progress Check FC, where he won by first-round knockout against Dylan Mitchin.
