The Irishman has posted a video of his son impersonating several fighters, which has received rave reviews among the MMA community for its accuracy.

The current 'BMF' title holder famously pointed to the canvas prior to knocking out Justin Gaethje during their exchange in the final 10 seconds of their bout at UFC 300. Ian Machado Garry discloses why he accepted short notice fight against Shavkat Rakhmonov

Ian Machado Garry recently disclosed why he accepted a short-notice fight against Shavkat Rakhmonov. The Irishman was originally scheduled to fight the following week against Joaquin Buckley but an injury to Belal Muhammad resulted in the promotion seeking an alternative with Rakhmonov vs. Garry.

During his UFC 310 vlog on his YouTube channel, Garry mentioned that a major factor in agreeing to replace Muhammad was that he wanted to silence his doubters. He said that his doubters won't be able to say anything about him should he defeat the most feared competitor in the welterweight division:

"They will only be able to say, 'This guy will fight anyone, anywhere, any time'. And the perfect example is give me the boogeyman in the welterweight division and I'll stand in there on three weeks notice and I'll find a way to beat him... I will take [Rahkmonov's] 0 and I will take that belt." [3:09]
