Fans reacted to Edwin Cooper Jr. being called out on 'The Ultimate Fighter Season 32' (TUF) for excessive drinking. The sixth episode of TUF 32 was released yesterday, July 9, with a middleweight bout closing the show.

Fans who tuned in quickly turned their attention to a segment in which Cooper Jr., a featherweight contestant on Team Valentina Shevchenko, was exposed by other contestants for his aggressive drinking habits.

Several clips were shown of Cooper Jr. drinking alcohol, with one contestant claiming he's "drunk 24/7." The TUF 32 segment went viral on Twitter, leading to the following fan reactions when ESPN MMA posted the footage:

Edwin Cooper Jr.'s fight on 'The Ultimate Fighter Season 32' has not aired yet. Following the latest episode, two fights have taken place in the featherweight division in which Cooper Jr. competes, as Roedie Roets. Kaan Ofli and Zygimantas Ramaska moved on to the semifinals.

What was Edwin Cooper Jr.'s MMA background heading into TUF 32?

Edwin Cooper Jr, born in Joliet, Illinois, fought once as an amateur, securing a third-round knockout in November 2017. Eleven months later, the Jackson Wink affiliate made his professional MMA debut at V3 Fights 70, which he also won by third-round knockout.

Since then, Cooper Jr. has solidified himself as a featherweight prospect by establishing a record of 6-1, including three wins by KO/TKO. The 31-year-old is riding a four-fight win streak, with all of the bouts except his last taking place under the Legacy Fighting Alliance (LFA) banner.

Cooper Jr. last fought on the PFL Challenger Series in March 2022 when he defeated Troy Lamson by unanimous decision. Following his extended layoff, the American featherweight plans to earn a UFC contract by conquering his division on 'The Ultimate Fighter Season 32.'

It'll be intriguing to see if Cooper Jr.'s drinking habits play a factor in his TUF 32 journey moving forward.
