Jonathan Haggerty only means business when he returns for a keenly awaited rematch against Superlek Kiatmoo9 at ONE 168: Denver. With plenty at stake, including a chance to pull one back against 'The Kicking Machine,' the English striker plans to hold nothing back as he seeks to extend his positive run of form inside the Ball Arena on Sept. 6.

To ensure he covers all bases, the two-sport king has even flown out of London to Koh Samui early, starting his preparation 13 weeks ahead of his ONE bantamweight Muay Thai world title defense against the flyweight kickboxing divisional king.

Speaking to Sportskeeda MMA about his decision to extend his fight camp, Jonathan Haggerty said:

"Yeah, but normally, I'd always have a long camp. It was only the recent fight with Lobo that was a bit short due to the injuries I had. But yeah, this is the longest fight camp I've had. I feel like I've needed it for an opponent like Superlek."

Besides ensuring he gets his work done early, the 27-year-old knows the climate in Denver, Colorado, could potentially throw a spanner in the works.

Given that there could be difficulties in that department, 'The General' also plans to fly into North America in advance to acclimatize himself to the conditions.

ONE 168: Denver is ONE Championship's second major live event in the United States.

Tickets for the Sept. 6 show can be purchased here.

Jonathan Haggerty reveals where his unbreakable mindset stems from

As one of the biggest names on the ONE roster, it's no surprise that Jonathan Haggerty goes the extra mile to ensure he's always 100 percent ready for his fights on the global stage.

Apart from the usual groundwork in camp, the British striker, in a separate interview with Sky Sports MMA Club, touched on where he gets his confidence from:

"The confidence comes from what you put in the gym. I put a note for myself that I put in one hundred percent at all times. So once I get on to that ring, I know I'm fully prepared, and I'm prepared for anything."
