Alex Pereira is a man of many talents it seems.

'Poatan' is fresh off his return in the main event of UFC 300 against Jamahal Hill. 'Sweet Dreams' never lost his light-heavyweight title in the cage, and was determined to win it back against Pereira. However, the Brazilian had other plans.

Pereira knocked down the former champion in the contest and followed up with some hammer fists for the stoppage win. It took less than a round for the light-heavyweight champion to show up on the biggest stage imaginable.

While Alex Pereira's fanbase grew with that victory, a viral video has raised his profile even more. A clip emerged on X of the Brazilian playing in a band not long after his UFC 300 win. Based on the video, playing music seems to be one of Pereira's many talents.

Alex Pereira's road ahead after his UFC 300 win?

Alex Pereira hoped to fight at UFC 301 next month, but 'Poatan' will be on the shelf for a little bit.

While the Brazilian largely escaped his fight with Jamahal Hill unscathed, he did take a little bit of damage. Pereira broke a toe during his first-round knockout victory earlier this month, which was seemingly the only damage he took on fight night.

Pereira released footage of himself suffering the injury after his win over Hill. While it's just a broken toe, it will prevent a quick turnaround.

Originally, Alex Pereira hoped to headline UFC 301 early next month in Brazil. Former opponent Jiri Prochazka even offered to face the champion at the event, but due to the Brazilian's injury, that fight seems out of the question.

With that in mind, it's unknown when the champion will compete next. However, Pereira has kept a busy schedule since signing with the UFC in 2021. When he's healed up, one can expect him to fight soon thereafter.
