MMA fans recently expressed their thoughts about Ilia Topuria's rant during his face-off with Max Holloway for their UFC 308 encounter. Topuria maintained his usual brash nature for the face-offs and bragged about his capabilities during the same.
The much-awaited Topuria vs. Holloway encounter is less than 24 hours from now. The current featherweight champ, Topuria, has been extremely confident about his victory throughout the buildup of the fight. He even dismissed Holloway's claim of being the best boxer in the UFC multiple times in his recent interviews.
Topuria also got involved in a war of words with Holloway after interrupting him during the pre-UFC 308 press conference. The pre-fight face-offs also presented a similar situation, with 'El Matador' constantly running his mouth while Holloway maintained his stoic approach.
A tweet from @ChampRDS showcased a video of the Topuria-Holloway face-off uploaded by the UFC CEO, Dana White. Its faint audio revealed that Topuria was saying things like he was "the best in the world" and some more.

Belal Muhammad warned Ilia Topuria about the consequences of trash-talking
Ilia Topuria may be fighting Max Holloway for his first title defense at UFC 308. But he has fired shots at several other UFC stars during the buildup period of the fight. Earlier this month, Topuria also got involved in a feud with Islam Makhachev's teammate Usman Nurmagomedov, after revealing that he wanted to lock horns with the lightweight king in the future.
Nurmagomedov warned Topuria about keeping his mouth under control since his Dagestani teammates could get him on the streets as well. The Spaniard debunked Nurmagomedov's warning nonchalantly, saying he and his team would do nothing.
However, Belal Muhammad recently provided another caution to Topuria regarding the same issue during his recent interview with MMA Fighting. Muhammad said:
"He needs to focus on Holloway, who's in front of him. You don’t want to disrespect the guys from Dagestan because if they see you in person, they’re going to slap you, right? They don’t take that stuff lightly. They don’t play the trash-talk game. It’s real life for them, and I think he took offense to that. But he’s in that mode right now where he's still trying to find himself and convince fans that he’s this trash talker, this bad guy."
