Eddie Abasolo is determined to start his redemption arc when the next time he steps between the ropes.

The Filipino-American standout will face Mohamed Younes Rabah in a critical featherweight Muay Thai matchup at the stacked ONE 169 card on Nov. 8 in US primetime at the historic Lumpinee Stadium.

Abasolo has been on a rough patch in his career and believes a win over Younes Rabah will put him straight back on the right path in ONE Championship.

Taking to Instagram, Abasolo said his upcoming match against Younes Rabah is critically important to his career.

Eddie Abasolo wrote:

"This one is personal, I owe it to myself. Make sure y’all tune in, Nov 8 #ONE169 on @primevideo, you won’t wanna miss this! #ONE169 #MuayThai #featherweight #fightnight #war"

Abasolo is one of the most exciting fighters in ONE Championship and combines power with free-flowing technical mastery.

The California native, however, is coming off two brutal wars against Thai legend Sitthichai Sitsongpeenong and American rising star Luke Lessei.

Nevertheless, Abasolo is hellbent on reclaiming lost momentum and mounting a potential winning streak at the expense of Younes Rabah.

Taking on Younes Rabah, however, could prove to be a difficult puzzle for Abasolo. The Algerian striker stands at a tall 6-foot-2 and has a four-inch height advantage over the 5-foot-10 Abasolo.

It will be interesting to see how Abasolo attempts to negate that massive vertical challenge when he faces Younes Rabah in Bangkok.

ONE 169 is available live and free to all Prime Video subscribers in the United States and Canada.

Eddie Abasolo says he's ready for whatever offense Mohamed Younes Rabah throws at him

Eddie Abasolo has been in the fight game for so long that he knows he can't be hyper-fixated with his opponent's game plan.

In an interview with 4oz to Freedom, Abasolo said he's ready for whatever offensive approach Mohamed Younes Rabah has in store for their ONE 169 duel.

Abasolo said:

"If I could write the script, preferably, I would like to end it to the body. Because when you end it with a body shot they're still conscious and, you know. But to the body, to the head, to the leg, it doesn't matter to me. Whatever he gives me, I'll take it."
