First-ranked ONE bantamweight contender Fabricio Andrade is thrilled to see ONE Championship expanding its global footprint to his native country of Brazil.

The world’s largest martial arts organization recently signed a deal to broadcast live events in the country through Globo – the largest commercial television network in Latin America.

‘Wonder Boy’, of course, couldn’t be any happier, as ONE’s spectacle will finally be more accessible to his combat-passionate countrymen.

In an exclusive interview with ONE Championship, the 25-year-old went into detail about what it means for him and his fellow Brazilian fighters signed with the Asian organization:

“This partnership is very important to us, mainly in Brazil. This partnership with the largest broadcaster in Brazil is a very important step for the event and for Brazilian fighters, who will be able to gain greater recognition in the country.”

Moreover, the Tiger Muay Thai product could not contain his excitement about the deal potentially paving the way for ONE to host a live event in his home nation down the line:

“Also, it will open the possibility of having ONE events in Brazil in the future.”

After conquering the Asian market, ONE has been growing exponentially over the years. It plans to further strengthen its footing with North American audiences through live events next year.

It now appears the promotion also wants to make a mark in South America, beginning with Brazil. This move is a win-win situation for both parties, considering ONE’s stacked roster is filled with several amazing Brazilian warriors.

Andrade, of course, leads the pack, alongside his rival John Lineker. Former ONE world champions Bibiano Fernandes and Adriano Moraes are also fan favorites, alongside rising stars Marcus ‘Buchecha’ Almeida and Guto Inocente, among others.

There are also several Brazilian stars outside MMA, including ONE atomweight Muay Thai world champion Allycia Hellen Rodrigues and submission grappling’s Rodrigo Marello.

It is only Day ONE of this magical adventure. Let's keep chasing our greatness together! Stay tuned for more big news soon! LET’S GOOOOO!!! #WeAreONE”

Aside from Globo, ONE Championship’s recent partnership ventures include an agreement with Amazon Prime Video Sports in North America and a beIN SPORTS in the Middle East.
