Jake Paul has not entered the boxing ring since defeating Mike Perry via sixth-round TKO in July. The social media personality will make his return to action on Nov. 15 when he faces the legendary Mike Tyson at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas live on Netflix.
Paul recently found himself under scrutiny from fans after his Most Valuable Promotions shared an insensitive remembrance post in honor of the 23rd anniversary of the 9/11 tragedy. The promotion's official X account shared a picture of Paul along with a photo of the Tribute in Light that stands in place of the World Trade Center, captioning the tweet:
"Today, we remember the heroes and lives lost on 9/11. A day that changed us forever, but also showed the strength of our unity and resilience. Never Forget [United States flag]"

"What the hell has Jake Paul got to do with this? 💀"
@MosleyB02 voiced his displeasure with the tweet:
"Love how you guys always manage to try and involve Jake Paul in everything. He has nothing to do with this tragedy"

Jake Paul speculates on why Conor McGregor has not fought
Conor McGregor has not competed in mixed martial arts in over three years with no date set for his return. While he appeared set to face Michael Chandler at UFC 303, he withdrew from the bout due to a pinky toe injury. Jake Paul recently suggested that the former double champ's inactivity may be tied to the promotion's ongoing broadcast rights negotiations.
Speaking on his podcast, BS w/ Jake Paul, Paul stated:
"Conor has two fights left on his fight deal, but the UFC is trying to renew their rights deal because they licensed their content - which are the fights - through platforms so they're trying to renew their deal, which they're negotiations with multiple people, but let's say they're going to go with ESPN. They're trying to renew the deal and get the most amount of money."
Paul continued:
"A part of that negotiation is, 'hey, we have Conor McGregor for two more fights', but if he were to fight now, that wouldn't be a part of the negotiations. The company would be like, 'oh, yeah, well you only have Conor for one fight'. So that's why Conor is not fighting right now."

While there could be some truth to Paul's theory, it should be noted that the UFC did book McGregor to fight. Additionally, the promotion has continued to grow and is, arguably, past the point of needing their biggest star. Finally, the social media personality has been engaged in a public feud with Dana White for several years so it is unlikely that he has insight into the company's broadcast rights negotiations.
