EA Sports UFC 5 is considered by many MMA fans to be their favorite video game. One video from the game is circulating on the internet, where Alex Pereira, the reigning light heavyweight champion, knocked out his opponent. Now, UFC lightweight Terrance McKinney has reacted to the video.
In the video game clip, Pereira knocks out his opponent with a leg kick to the chin while the opponent is in mid-air. @vidsthatgohard shared this video on their X account, which gained a reaction from McKinney.
He commented, directing his attention to the controversial decision loss of Jared Gordon against Paddy Pimblett:

“This robbery is almost as bad as Gordon vs. Pimblett.”

In a back-and-forth three-round fight between Pimblett and Gordon at UFC 282, the bout went to the judges' scorecards, where ‘The Baddy’ secured a unanimous decision victory. This left many fans and commentators shocked, as they believed Gordon had done enough to earn the decision in his favor.
Meanwhile, ‘Poatan’ was last seen in action against Khalil Rountree Jr. at UFC 307. Despite falling short in the first two rounds of the bout, he managed to come back in the third round, delivering several punishing strikes to Rountree Jr. He ultimately won the fight in the fourth round via KO/TKO punches.

Alex Pereira quickly gained popularity following his UFC debut in 2021 and is arguably one of the most popular fighters in the promotion right now.
The Brazilian fighter successfully defended his light heavyweight belt three times, with all wins coming by finishes. This impressive run eventually led him to be named 2024 Fighter of the Year.
EA Sports has revealed the most-used fighters in the UFC 5 video game, with Pereira securing the second spot. Above him was the former simultaneous two-division champion, Conor McGregor. Max Holloway secured third, followed by Sean O'Malley in fourth, and Israel Adesanya rounded out the top five in fifth.
