Fans recently expressed their thoughts on the heated altercation between Vasiliy Lomachenko and Shakur Stevenson at the Terence Crawford boxing event. The event featured eight fights in seven weight classes, including four title fights. All of this took place on Aug. 3 at the BMO Stadium in Los Angeles, California.

Crawford squared off against Israil Madrimov for the latter's super welterweight WBA title this past Saturday. The welterweight champion dominated the fight in the 11th and 12th rounds, landing strong blows throughout. But his aggression did not deter Madrimov, who fired back until the last bell.

The close contest lasted 12 rounds. Ultimately, Crawford defeated Madrimov via unanimous decision (115-113 x2, 116-112) and became the new super welterweight champion. However, Madrimov ended the American boxer's 11-fight KO streak.

As for the boxing scene, Gervonta Davis' co-trainer Kenny Ellis, provided a significant update on the boxing match between Lomachenko and Davis. After Stevenson defeated Artem Harutyunyan by unanimous decision to retain his WBC lightweight title, Ellis claimed that the Ukrainian would withdraw from the fight so that 'Tank' could face Stevenson in the fall. The victor will then face him in early 2025.

However, it will be interesting to watch who Lomachenko fights next.
