Jon Anik, Henry Cejudo, and others react to Renato Moicano leaving Benoit Saint Denis bloody and bruised in UFC Paris TKO

Renato Moicano spoiled the French party at the Accor Arena by defeating hometown hero Benoit Saint Denis via TKO (doctor stoppage) at the end of the second round in the main event of UFC Paris. The Brazilian showcased a dominant performance, posting his third win of the year.

Moicano imposed his will from the opening bell, putting Saint Denis on the canvas almost immediately. He transitioned seamlessly to assert control, unleashing brutal elbows and punches that left the Frenchman busted up and leaking.

'God of War' showed heart and had some positive moments in the second round. However, the accumulated damage proved too much for him to continue, forcing the doctor to stop the bout before the third round could start.

Moicano continues to be an all-action, ascending threat in the lightweight division with four straight wins and a 7-2 record in his last nine fights. He has solidified himself as a viable contender in the division and the MMA community is taking notice.

UFC welterweight champion Belal Muhammad was impressed by the Brazilian's performance and proposed a matchup for him on an X post:

"'Money' Monicano ain’t playing any games... Moicano vs. Justin [Gaethje]."

UFC color commentator Jon Anik wrote:

"Renato Moicano's strength of schedule and the relative difficulty of the matchmaking is undeniable. And the last time he lost, it was when he stepped up on [four] day's notice to go 25 minutes v. Rafael Dos Anjos. Time to plaster some respect on this lightweight's name."
