Shavkat Rakhmonov recently lashed out at Kamaru Usman and Colby Covington following their empty roars about UFC 310. The Kazakhstan native opined that the UFC welterweights were trying to seek media attention instead of acting for the cause.

Rakhmonov was left without a rival for his UFC 310 encounter after his pre-scheduled rival, Belal Muhammad, declared himself unfit to show up for the fight. Since then, several UFC welterweights have thrown in their names, expressing their desire to fill Muhammad's spot and take on Rakhmonov at UFC 310.

Initially, Ian Machado Garry disclosed his wish to fight Rakhmonov at the UFC 310 main event. But Dana White and Co. booked him for an encounter against Joaquin Buckley on Dec. 14, making him unavailable for the same.

On the other hand, Kamaru Usman stated his readiness to face Rakhmonov in an episode of his Pound 4 Pound podcast. Covington also appeared in an interview with Submission Radio to mention that he was ready to take on Rakhmonov at UFC 310.

But Rakhmonov got frustrated by the silence of these two welterweights that followed the disclosure of their wish. 'Nomad' recently put out a tweet opining that Usman and Covington just wanted media and fan attention by expressing their readiness to fight him, instead of being really interested.

"All I hear are empty callouts! No real intention, no action. Just posturing for the media and fans. @USMAN84kg @ColbyCovMMA"

Shavkat Rakhmonov is confident about getting the better of Ian Machado Garry

As of now, both Ian Machado Garry and Shavkat Rakhmonov boast perfect pro-MMA records. 'The Future' holds a record of 15-0 while Rakhmonov's numbers read 18-0.

While expressing his wish to fight Rakhmonov, Garry highlighted that it would be highly interesting to witness who stands as the undefeated fighter after their fight.

But Rakhmonov's recent appearance at The Ariel Helwani Show revealed that he was pretty confident about defeating Garry if they ever clash inside the octagon. The Kazakhstan native said:

"We can do it. If he wants to try and take my zero, he can try, but I know the same thing is going to happen that’s happened in the training. I’m going to just keep it the same way, and I’m pretty confident that I’m going to beat him."
