Sean Strickland has just pleaded with SpaceX CEO Elon Musk to acquire Instagram, drawing fan interest. The request took place in the comment section of a recent Nina-Marie Daniele post on the platform. It was a snippet of her interview with UFC heavyweight champion Jon Jones.
The clip involved Jones detailing his thoughts on Power Slap. While he claimed to support any endeavor that UFC CEO Dana White spearheads, he did express concern over the nature of the sport. Nevertheless, Jones asserted that he still respects slap fighters.

The clip drew the attention of many, as most Daniele posts often do. Among those who popped up in the comment section of her Instagram post was former UFC middleweight champion and frequent collaborator Strickland. He punctuated his post by requesting Musk to purchase Instagram.
Apparently, Strickland had posted a different comment that did not align with Instagram's content guidelines. Thus, the post is nowhere to be seen, leading to Strickland's lamentation of the entire situation.
"Sorry guys had to delete that banger comment.. Instagram guidelines.. Elon buy IG please"
Curious fans flocked to Strickland's comment with questions. One fan asked, point blank, what the deleted comment was.
"What was it? Lmao"
Others lamented having not seen it.
"Wish I have seen it"
More curiosity overtook fans regarding his deleted comment.
"Word what was it? ... Put in IG guideline codes"
Some, though, claimed that Strickland had insinuated that Jones was homosexual.
"He basically said that sober Jones was gay white man in a black dude's body"

Unfortunately for Strickland, a Musk takeover of Instagram appears unlikely. Moreover, the SpaceX CEO appears to be eyeing MSNBC instead.
Sean Strickland has had issues on other social media platforms before
Sean Strickland is one of the most controversial figures in MMA. He often voices his opinions on sociopolitical issues, and his stance is usually considered to be politically incorrect. This has led to several issues, among them various suspensions from X.
However, with Elon Musk's purchase of the platform, he hasn't faced any subsequent suspensions and has been free to share his unfiltered thoughts without consequence.
