Tony Ferguson surpasses B.J. Penn for the longest losing streak in UFC history, announces semi-retirement

Even more than losing hair, we're quite positive that Tony Ferguson hates losing fights. As of last month, 'El Cucuy' surpassed MMA legend B.J. Penn for the longest losing streak in UFC history with 8. It happened at the hands of Michael Chiesa, who submitted Ferguson in the first round of their fight at UFC Abu Dhabi.

Disappointed by his loss, Ferguson removed his gloves after the fight, hinting at a possible retirement. Interestingly, he only left just one glove on the floor, as he seems undecided if he truly wants to call it a career.

Speaking to Daniel Cormier in his post-fight interview, Tony Ferguson said:

"I don't want to retire, I really don't, but I love the UFC, and I don't want to go anywhere else. So I'm not going to put both gloves down. I'm gonna put one. And I'm gonna keep the other one just in case. I'm going to go home, I'm going to talk to my wife, I'm going to give my kids a big a** hug, I'm going to enjoy the rest of the stay here in Abu Dhabi."
