Liam Harrison is putting on the finishing touches to his game plan for ONE 168: Denver, but he took a bit of time off to link up with one of the most influential professional wrestlers of all time.

The British Muay Thai and kickboxing legend met up with WWE Hall of Famer Bill Goldberg in Denver and shared some of his striking arsenal with the multi-time WWE and WCW world champion.

Harrison wrote on Instagram that he and Goldberg struck up a friendship almost a decade ago and this week marked only the second time they had met.

He posted:

"Today was a special and cool day... I first met with @goldberg95 around nine years ago when I fought Malaipet in LA, and since then we've stayed in touch on social media and spoke about doing some work together one day."

Liam Harrison added:

"Today was the day. Such a cool, humble, down-to-earth guy and a childhood hero of mine and @badgers_fight_bible and how we call that hero a friend... and after a few tweaks today he now also has a left hook that can put down a rhino 🤣... blessed 👊 #muaythai #goldberg #onechampionship."

For a certain age demographic, the friendship between Goldberg and Liam Harrison is the stuff of 90s and 2000s pop culture magic.

Harrison started his professional career in 1999, amassed 90 career wins, and captured multiple world titles in Muay Thai and kickboxing.

Goldberg, meanwhile, was one of the best homegrown talents of WCW and captured the promotion's Tag Team, United States, and World Heavyweight titles.

The former Atlanta Falcon then had several stints in the WWE where he won the WWE World Heavyweight and Universal titles.

Liam Harrison honored to finally face Seksan in Denver

After spending some time with his childhood hero in Goldberg, Liam Harrison is now setting all of his focus on his impending super fight against Seksan.

Harrison will face the Thai icon in an all-legends 140-pound catchweight Muay Thai fight at ONE 168 on September 6, Friday, at Ball Arena.

In an interview with the South China Morning Post, Harrison said Seksan is one of his favorite fighters and promised to put on a barnburner in front of the Denver crowd:

"It’s going to be exciting for everyone. I like fighting this style of fight. Seksan loves fighting this style of fight. And me and him are going to have fun. We're going to enjoy ourselves and the crowd are going to have fun. It's going to be amazing. Like I said before, he's the only legend on my list who's missing. And he's a hero of mine."
