MMA fans have been reacting to Tom Aspinall after the UFC heavyweight showed off his ripped physique that has him weighing in at 277 pounds, 12 pounds over the heavyweight limit.

Aspinall is still recovering from an injury he sustained in his main-event bout with Curtis Blaydes at UFC London in July last year. The Manchester-born fighter unfortunately blew out his knee just 15 seconds into the fight and required immediate surgery after suffering ACL and MCL damage.

Thankfully, the 29-year-old Brit is close to returning to full fitness and the latest photo on his Instagram Story suggests he's been hitting the gym seriously hard during his recovery:

"Random on the internet: Tom looks like he could make 205lbs. Me at 277lbs... Don't fancy losing 72lbs thanks."

One fan on Reddit responded to the photo and joked that Aspinall's been using Paulo Costa's infamous secret juice to achieve his physique:

"Hanging out with Paulo, drinking the secret juice."

Another fan was dubious about Tom Aspinall's "277lbs" claims and suggested they thought he looked leaner than his last weigh-in:

"Can he really be 277lbs there? I know it's all about angles and lighting. But, he looks leaner than he did at 250lbs. Did he drop bodyfat AND gain a ton of muscle?"

Tom Aspinall not bothered if Conor McGregor vs. Michael Chandler falls through

Last month, Dana White announced that Conor McGregor would be making his long-awaited return to the UFC.

'The Notorious' will first coach a team on the latest season of 'The Ultimate Fighter' against Michael Chandler, before the two stars battle it out before the end of the year.

In a recent interview with Jamal Niaz, Tom Aspinall was asked his thoughts on the Irishman's return. The 29-year-old admitted that he is likely to watch the fight but said that there are more bouts he's interested in, such as Kamaru Usman and Leon Edwards' trilogy later this month:

"Honestly, I'm not that interested in it. I'll still watch it but I'm kinda like over McGregor... For me, there's way more exciting fights out there than that. The heavyweight fight coming up that I'm super invested in, the London card, Leon Edwards, I could sit here and name them all day. There's another 20 fights I'm more interested in. Will I watch it? Yeah, but if it gets canceled, I won't be upset about it."
