Tom Aspinall is relaxing since his most recent outing to the octagon in July 2024. In the meantime, a promotional post for a tequila company involving his photo drew his reaction on Instagram. Mexican tequila company Cuervo advertised a meet-up with the UFC interim heavyweight champion scheduled for Friday at Vallarta Supermarket in Canoga Park, California.
He posted the poster on his Instagram account. However, the picture chosen by the company to advertise the event made Aspinall question the design team of the company:

On the professional front, the 31-year-old British heavyweight is on a three-fight winning streak and is waiting for his next fight. He defeated Sergei Pavlovich at UFC 295 to win the interim title and then defended it against Curtis Blaydes at UFC 304. Aspinall has been chasing a match with reigning UFC heavyweight champion Jon Jones to unify the title.

Francis Ngannou left the UFC in January 2023 and joined the PFL the same year. He explored his potential in professional boxing and eventually got a high-profile fight booked against Tyson Fury. The duo squared off against each other in October 2023 in Kingdom Arena, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
Despite a competitive fight, Ngannou lost the bout via a split decision. Tom Aspinall took to X and revealed picking Ngannou to prevail over Fury:
