Tommy Fury received $4,000,000 as his fight purse for his fight against Jake Paul. Fury was supposed to earn an additional $4,000,000 for his win against Paul after both fighters agreed to a double-or-nothing handshake deal.
However, when 'The Problem Child' furnished the contract, 'TNT' appeared hesitant, although a senior member of his family assured him that he would sign the contract. However, Tommy Fury did not end up signing the contract. As a result, he didn't get the additional $4,000,000 for beating Paul.

Tommy Fury and Jake Paul boxed eight rounds at the end of which 'TNT' emerged the victor via split decision. Judge scored the bout in favor of Paul with a 75-74 overall score, while the other two judges scored the contest in favor of Fury with a 76-73 score.
After the bout, an emotional Fury said the following in his post-fight press conference:
"For the past two-and-a-half years, this is all that's consumed my life. Broke a rib, [got] denied access [to travel], and everybody thought I was running scared. Tonight, I made my own legacy. I am Tommy Fury."
What was Jake Paul's reaction to his first professional loss to Tommy Fury?
Tommy Fury vs. Jake Paul was a back-and-forth boxing affair, with Fury landing a higher volume of power strikes (49) against Jake Paul's 24. In the eighth round of their show-down, however, Paul landed a jab that knocked Fury down. Despite the knockdown, Fury edged Paul out to win a split-decision victory.

After the loss to Fury, Jake Paul said the following:
"All respect to Tommy, he won. You know - and, don't judge me by my wins, judge me by my losses. I'll come back - I think we deserve that rematch. It was a great fight, a close fight. I don't know if I agree with the judges, I got 10-8 rounds twice. So, it is what it is. But this is the boxing [world].
Paul continued saying the following:
"And look, I've already won in life, man, I've already won. I've won in every single way; I have an amazing family, amazing friends, [an] amazing work ethic. I've made it farther than I ever thought that I would, and beyond. So, this is definitely a humbling experience. I'll take it on the chin, [and] get back in the gym. And, we could run it back, because I think we put on an amazing show for the fans tonight."
